Part A: Making of the shift dress/ long gown

This lesson seeks to teach you how to sew the dress or gown to fit the body, and also understand how to apply tailor measurement to the cloth, it teaches how to pattern out the gown for the perfect fit to the body by illustrating in detail in simple terms how to cut to fit, and also sew clothes in a stressless manner.
Learn how to apply measurement on fabric, as well as understand tailor measurement and sewing allowance needed for the zip, dart and slit, and how to use it, learn to apply darts to front and back side of the fabric and sewing it to give shape to the fabric, then you will learn how to use tailor measurement to cut out the sleeve and also how to fix the sleeve to the fabric. You will learn how to shape the neck and shoulder and how to apply phasing to the fabric. You will learn how to apply slit measurement to the fabric and apply it to the fabric from the cutting to the sewing.
Part B: Making of school uniform/childrens gown for a child
A child’s body is proportional and not as complicated as the mature adult female body, this lesson seek to teach in easy steps how to sew simple gown for a little girl and also you will learn the various collars that is meant for children and how to create it. In addition you have a sample measurement to guide you, and also learn how a tailor is meant cut the child’s outfit to meet measurement.
School uniforms are easy and quite technical, learn how to cut the pattern pieces needed for the uniform, learn to apply tailor measurement on the fabric and also apply the measurement that fit the body on a fabric, learn to apply measurement for neck phasing as sewing it on the neck, learn to cut out the sleeve and sew it to the fabric, learn to apply dart on front and back of the fabric, you will learn to measure and cut out peter pan collar and sew it to the fabric.

Dart placement can be confusing on a skirt, the lesson teaches the right way to place a dart on a skirt right around the waist band, if slit or zip fixing is an issue, the lesson shows hands on how the teacher in a very simple stitched the slit and skit both teach and show the learner what’s professional finish should look like.
Learn how to apply tailor measurement and the sewing allowance needed for stitching the fabric together, slit, skirt band and zip, how to construct a skirt band and sewing it to a cut skirt, how to sew the front and back dart on a skirt, learn to apply measurement of zip to a skirt and how to apply its measurement on the skirt when taking tailor measurement as well as sewing it to the skirt fabric, learn to apply measurement to a skirt to make space for slit and sewing of the slit.
Part D: Making of Six piece skirt
Sewing of a a six piece skirt can be very confusing and complicated, but in this lesson the teacher breaks down sewing the six piece skirt to help the learner sew a six piece skirt to fit various body types. From the lessons learnt from sewing a fitted straight skirt, the Learner can then grauate to sewing a six piece skirt as the teacher illustrates with simple methods, problems like tight knee is addressed and how not to sew a tight knee is illustrated.
Learn how to cut out the six piece skirt for the front and back of the fabric and to sew them together and the sewing allowance needed for the six pieces, the band and the zip , as much as you apply the lessons learnt in the short skirt lesson you will also learn new skill when sewing the six piece skirt, learn to construct the band and sew it on the skirt, learn to measure and pattern out the zip and sew the zip appropriately to the fabric.
Part E: Making of the Peplum blouse
Learn to apply tailor measurement for a blouse on the fabric and the allowances needed of stitching and zips, learn to cut out the pattern of the neck and cut out the phasing of the neck and also apply it to the neck, learn to apply tailor measurement for the sleeve of the blouse, to cut it out and sew it on the blouse, learn to pattern out the darts on the front and back of the blouse as well as sew the darts, learn to pattern and cut out the peplum of the blouse as well as sew the peplum to the blouse, also learn the unique way to sew a zip to the blouse in other for the measurement to be exact.
